Bio-Chem Barrier Systems was founded by Ray Maloney in November 2004. Mr. Maloney recognized the need for better solutions to the growing problem of contamination of emergency service workers and founded the company to design and market technologies to help combat this problem.

Headquartered in Long Island, New York, Bio-Chem Barrier Systems LLC manufactures portable patient isolation enclosures, branded as the "BCB Containment Shield," which will prevent the spread of contamination and infection during transit and treatment of patients.

The Company has completed developing the technology of its initial product, created several demonstration units and began initial sales and marketing.
